Sunny: 81 degrees

Sky is azure

St. Johns River flows sleepily from South to North.

A tug boat and its large charge silently making their way up river.

Slow for manatees.

I take off my sandals and sit on the bulkhead.

Warming in the sun like a lizard.

Watching

Near by a woman also sits on the bulk head wall.

She has a bit of shade.

Lucky her.

I am sitting straight, my legs dangle over the wall.

The woman, her body curved totally over her phone.

“Investors lose money by investing in companies.”

I take note of what she had said.

Maybe she is on to something

The tug and cargo maneuver through the river markers.

Slowly goes the day.

“I could nap here all day,” says the woman still craned over her phone.
